We are Expressions beauty studios, a partnership in the names of Emma Boswell and Jane Fairclough established in 2003 and our principal business is operating as a beauty studio offering a comprehensive range of beauty treatments.

We obtain information about you either via our website, our Facebook page, over the telephone or email, personal visits to our salon or any other means of communication between us (together ‘the Information Sources’).

If you purchase a product from us or pay for any beauty treatment using any form of payment card, your card information is not held by us, but is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

All personal information collected by us from the Information Sources is used solely in connection with our business including, but not limited to, the provision of beauty treatments and the sale of beauty related products.

We may use your information to:

• operate our business as described above;

• deal with entries into any competition we may run;

• seek your views or comments on the services we provide;

• notify you of changes to our services;

• send you communications regarding products and offers that may be of interest to you (‘Marketing Communications’).

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. You can indicate your choice about whether you wish to receive Marketing Communications from us about the work we do and our exciting products and services, by ticking the relevant boxes situated either (a) on the form on which we collect your information when you become a new client, (b) on the email circulated to all our clients in May 2018, (c) on a paper copy of that email which will be available in the salon from 1st May 2018, or (d) simply by email or letter to the contact details above indicating your preference.

To ensure that we have an up to date consent from all clients/contacts to whom we currently send Marketing Communications, we will be seeking fresh consents from all of our clients/contacts from the beginning of May 2018.
